Van der Valk establishes itself in Rotterdam with Exclusief Hotel

Van der Valk settles in the center of Rotterdam. A successful transaction has been completed, with CityState advising the seller during the sales process and Uijthoven Vastgoedadvies advising the buyer Van der Valk.

Van der Valk has acquired the property at Boompjes 200, measuring approximately 20,000 sqm, for a new hotel to be developed with facilities in the center of Rotterdam. The location in question is strategically located alongside the Nieuwe Maas, with a breathtaking view of the iconic Erasmus Bridge.

Van der Valk has ambitious plans for the transformation of this former office building. The building in this unique location will be redeveloped and made more sustainable into an Exclusief Van der Valk branch with approximately 300 rooms.

This inner-city expansion is in line with Van der Valk’s renewed strategy, following the success of Van der Valk Exclusief on the Zuidas in Amsterdam. The location alongside the Maas promises to be a true eye-catcher for Rotterdam, with its central location and impressive facilities.
